A More Intimate Way to Travel Croatia

Why Choose a Small Ship Cruise in Croatia?

Croatia’s coastline is made for small ship cruising. With over a thousand islands, sheltered waters and picturesque harbour towns, travelling by boutique cruise ship offers a level of access and flexibility that other styles of travel simply can’t match.

Unlike large ocean cruise liners, small ships carry a limited number of guests (max. 40), creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere on board. They can dock right in the heart of historic towns and sail into quiet bays for swim stops that bigger ships must pass by.

A small ship cruise combines the ease of unpacking once with the freedom to explore — offering the perfect balance of comfort, discovery and relaxation.

Cruise from Spring to Autumn

When Is the Best Time to Cruise?

The small ship cruise season in Croatia usually runs from spring through to autumn.
May & June: Warm weather, fewer crowds and ideal conditions for sightseeing
July & August: Hot, sunny days and vibrant island life
September & October: Warm seas, relaxed atmosphere and excellent value

Each season offers something different, and we’re happy to advise on the best time based on your preferences.

Our Boutique Small Ships

We work with trusted Croatian cruise partners and carefully select modern, comfortable small ships that offer excellent service and a welcoming onboard atmosphere. Our fleet typically features:
Comfortable en-suite cabins with air-conditioning
Sun decks and relaxed indoor–outdoor spaces
Easy access to the sea via swim platforms
Experienced local crew with regional knowledge
Life on a small ship is easy and unhurried. Days follow a gentle rhythm, with time to explore ashore, swim in the sea and relax on deck as you sail to your next destination.

Our ships generally have the choice of standard cabins or main deck cabins. Standard cabins have two portholes and dual ventilation system while main deck cabins have cabin window and porthole in bathroom.
