People often ask me why we set up Completely Croatia and why we just do one single destination.
About 8 years ago I worked for another specialist holiday company offering Croatia holidays – sadly no longer operating now – and was taken to the country to familiarise myself with it. And I fell in love.. I simply couldn’t believe that such an unspoilt country, which has tourism accounting for most of its GDP had managed to keep both its identity, and its coastline so unspoilt. The Dalmatian coastline is, quite simply, stunning.
As more discover the delights of a Croatia holiday it still doesn’t affect the natural beauty of the country. There is a finite amount of accommodation which keeps it both relatively uncrowded and certainly unspoilt.
Whether taking in the delights of Korcula, Hvar, Brac or the lesser known areas of Tisno or the wine growing region of the Peljasac peninsula, or indeed, further North to glamorous Opatija. This most beautiful of countries will not disappoint. Mountains, rivers, and clear warm seas are all part of a Croatia holiday, enjoying more than 200 days of sunshine just adds to the holiday feeling.
We are enjoying a great level of success just focussing on one country and knowing pretty much all there is to know in terms of location, distances between different places, and the best way to travel there. For example, whether a cruise along the sparkling Dalmatian Coast will suit someone better than the bustling medieval towns for a City break in Croatia, such as Trogir or Dubrovnik Old Town .
That said – we do tend to focus more on luxury holidays to Croatia and feature some lovely boutique and family run properties. These are the ones which fill up first though – and without wanting to sound boring, we really do advise early booking to get the chi chi hotel you would really like at the best price as most offer and early booking incentive.
