If there were a 6 star rating in Croatia, then hotel Villa Dubrovnik would undoubtedly qualify, and more. The hotel is set low, at sea level, so from arrival by private taxi, you are taken by elevator down to the cool , white, Zen like reception area for check in. Given its popularity and that fact that there are just 56 rooms altogether, we really do strongly recommend looking to book this property at least a year in advance to avoid disappointment.
From the moment you arrive at your chosen room and are met with the individually written card with good wishes from the staff who will look after you personally from the start to the finish of your holiday; to the moment you explore this fabulous property, you will not be disappointed. The ethos at Villa Dubrovnik is simple – Customer is King.
The elegant Spa is situated on two floors of the hotel. You can enjoy your own personal training regime, nutrition and anti stress programme, as well as simply relaxing with some of the superb treatments on offer.
There are 6500m2 of gardens, a library with an extensive range of books, plenty of sunbeds, parasols and cabanas. The pool is partially enclosed with wide glass doors which open to the sun terrace during the summer months. Two restaurants really do offer the finest dining experience. All cooked to individual order.
The Skybar enjoys stunning views from the terrace, perfect for a cocktail before dinner to watch the sunset over Dubrovnik Old Town. Both restaurants are also open only to Hotel residents, so your absolute privacy is guaranteed.
If you wish to visit the Old Town, the hotel has its own luxury Venetian Vaporetto speedboat to whisk you across the bay at any time of day or night.
There are just 56 rooms altogether, the views are stunning from wherever you are, out towards Lokrum or over towards Dubrovnik Old Town itself. All have balconies to enjoy these at any time of the day. There are 6 suites as well as Superior, Deluxe and Executive rooms.
Fully air conditioned all have flat screen plasma TV, mini bar, laptop safe, broadband and Wifi , quality tea and coffee making facilities, 24 hour room service, daily international or local newspaper, an excellently equipped ensuite complete with fine toiletries, dressing gowns and spa slippers. A Butler service is also available.
Completely Croatia says:- “This really is unparalleled luxury, pampering is guaranteed. A genuine ‘pearl of the Adriatic’ for the truly discerning client.”
