Stop here for a picnic break – before paddling along the coastline where you will see the fortress entry to the town. After a day of paddling you will have the option to take a tour of Sibenik town and to visit famous cathedral.

Day 3 – Cycling
Following breakfast, take the bikes from Skradin to the famous Skradinski Buk waterfall in Krka National Park. This is the place where the second hydro plant in the world was built. Not that you would know it in the haven of tranquillity. Stop for a swim and a picnic near the waterfall. Then continue cycling to explore the national Park. On reaching Visovac Lake you change bikes for a boat to take you to Visovac Island to visit the Franciscan Monastery and museum. The boat returns us to the main land and after a short break, it is time to hop back on the bikes for the downhill ride all the way home with a great view over to the Prokljan Lake .
Cycling – 4 – 5 hours – moderate – with van support if required
Day 4 – River Kayaking
An early start today driving towards the little village of Kastel Zegarski to begin the expedition down the magnificent canyons of the Zrmanj and Krupa rivers. Your vessel will be either raft, canoe or sit-on-top kayak, dependent upon river and weather conditions.
Then we depart for an afternoon on the clear warm green rivers, waterfalls, easy rapids, hidden swimming pools and deep sided canyons. Adventure really doesn’t get better than this.
Van drive 45 minutes – kayak/rafting class I/III rapids – 4 – 5 hours
Day 5 – A Day Relaxing
This is your ‘lazy day’ where you can choose what you would prefer to do – snooze by the river, swim, play beach volleyball, or join another organised hiking canyoning or climbing trip. Any optional trips will incur an additional local charge of approx euro 50 per person.
Day 6 – Trekking
We suggest an early start for this day – arrive at the Paklenica National Park which is the most famous for trekking and rock climbing.
A relatively small area, is has an abundance of flora and fauna which beautiful views and undisturbed nature.
Hiking is the only way to really get to know Paklenica which was, historically, populated by nomadic mountain shepherds. At the end of this spectacular day, visit Zadar Town which is a walled city complete with central Stradun, being similar in layout to the more famous Dubrovnik.
Van drive 75 mins , Trekking – 3 -4 hours – Sightseeing Zadar – 2 hours
Day 7 – River Rafting
Driving South, come to a small village near to the town of Omis, south of Split. Here we meet the Cetina River with its clear green water, jungle like forests, caves and waterfalls. Cetina is a great river, easy enough for families and absolute beginners. The trip downriver will end at Radman Mills, a traditional restaurant specialising in Dalmatian cuisine. After this (optional and payable locally) lunch, we head towards Split to walk the Riva, the palm tree promenade and have a guided tour of Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site built in the 4th century. Alternatively, visit Trogir, again a UNESCO site, an old town with quaint cobbled winding streets and stone houses of ancient times. (Split or Trogir? Its the choice of the Group !)
