The MS Providenca was built in 2014 and refurbished in 2018, setting new, high standards in service, equipment and overall cruise comfort. The boat is 47 m long, 9 m wide with a cruising speed of 9 knots. Her capacity is just 40 persons. The ship has just 20 en-suite outside cabins on the main and lower deck, and all are fully air-conditioned.

All cabins have air-conditioning and en-suite shower rooms. Cabin furnishings include a cupboard, a cabinet and a window or a porthole. All cabins are equipped with power plugs, LCD TV, safe box and hairdryer. Bathrooms are fully equipped with a shower, W/C and vanity unit with a sink.

OTHER PARTS OF BOAT
On the main deck and the upper deck there is one bathroom with showers. Upper deck houses a fully air-conditioned lounge-restaurant that seats all guests at the same time with a fully equipped bar and LCD TV. At the rear of the boat you can find a shaded lounge area with club tables and comfortable sofas. The top deck, is called the sun deck and offers 145 m2 of space and is equipped with sun chairs and a Jacuzzi. Free WIFI is available in the lounge and in the rear part of the boat.
Dubrovnik – Korcula – Pusica (Brac) – Omis – Split – Hvar – Mljet – Slano – Dubrovnik
Day 1 – Saturday – Check in from 14:00 at Dubrovnik Harbour. Please be aware that guests arriving before this time will be able to safely store their luggage until embarkation time. In the evening there will be a welcome cocktail and meet and greet party, followed by a welcome dinner. Please note for those arriving later, there will be a cold meal made available.

Day 2 – Sunday – Today we start with a walking tour of Dubrovnik, the Pearl of the Adriatic or the King’s Landing (Game of Thrones). You will be transferred from the harbour by coach to take part in the tour of Dubrovnik old town. On returning to the ship, we cast-off for the island of Korcula, with a refreshing swim close to one of the Elaphite islands. On arrival in Korcula, passengers have the importunity to take part in a guided walking tour of this former Venetian stronghold, with its famous stonework. Korcula is thought to be the birth place of the legendary explorer Marco Polo.

Day 3 – Monday – Breakfast is served with the stunning views of the Korcula archipelago as a back-drop and then we enjoy a scenic sail around the tip of the Pelješac peninsula, passing by Hvar Island, on our voyage to Brac Island. There may be a chance for a refreshing dip along the way. Here we drop anchor to visit the home of Croatian marble at scenic Pusica. You’ve probably seen this ultra-quality limestone already ? It is on the front of the White House in Washington DC and the Bundestag in Berlin, take the excursion to one of the oldest stone masonry school. Once back on-board our ship we set sail for the Dalmatian coast to visit Omis. The lovely settlement of Omiš sit at the spectacular mouth of the Cetina River canyon. Here you can consider taking the optional excursion to explore the Cetina River canyon by boat.

Day 4 – Tuesday – Today we sail northwards along the Croatian coast to call at the bustling port of Split. Here you will have the option of taking the excursion to visit Krka National Park and the ancient walled town of Trogir. The journey by coach brings you to the small town of Skradin, the guardian of the mouth of River Krka, and the gateway to its National park. The place where wild waterfalls inspire serene lakes, the park is definitely worth a visit. After returning to the seaside, we visit Trogir, a petite island connected by a bridge to the mainland. trogir is a showcase of stunning architecture founded upon Greek and Roman heritage, Trogir is protected by UNESCO, just like its big neighbour and your next stop, the town of Split. Explore on your own or join the walking tour to learn about the Diocletian’s Palace, once the Roman Emperor’s retirement estate and today a lively city centre. Whatever you do, be sure to explore the narrow winding streets and hidden squares within the walls of the old Roman Palace or have a meal in one of the many restaurants along the waterfront (Riva), and watch the world go by.

Day 5 – Wednesday – There are many islands directly across the sea from Split and Hvar is the one known for it’s purple lavender fields, potent red wines and glitzy jet-set feasts along starlit waterfronts. The Old Town of Hvar is home to a building that is thought to be the oldest theatre in Europe. Join the walking tour to learn more about the interesting past and glamorous present of this town and the island, before sailing over for a swim at the beautiful archipelago of Pakleni Otoci. Later in the afternoon, we sail to Vela Luka on Korcula, where you will enjoy dinner.

Day 6 – Thursday – Today your captain will choose a secluded bay to hop in the sea and start the day. Surrounded by deep green forests which earned Korcula its name and fame, meditate upon the sound of crickets as you immerse yourself in the crystal blue sea. Then we continue to another green island, this time Mljet. The national park on the island is the home of two salty lakes connected with by a small channel with the sea. Nature lovers will enjoy hiking or cycling here, possibly even kayaking over to the small inlet in the centre of the lake, charming with its 12th-century Monastery of St. Mary. Alternatively, join our optional excursion – but whatever you do, do not miss out on Mljet! Spend the evening in the small settlement of Slano on the mainland, once adored by Dubrovnik sea captains. Why becomes self-evident as soon as you take your first stroll along the waterfront.

Day 7 – Friday – Close to Slano is the petite town of Ston famous for strong wines, ancient salt production, succulent oysters and mussels. Here passengers have the chance to take the Taste of Dalmatia excursion, which includes wine tasting or you can also just relax in Slano before your ship continues to Dubrovnik. Midway on the voyage, take a dip by Lopud Island before the cruise continues to Dubrovnik. Here you will take a guided tour of Dubrovnik Old Town. Surrounded in immense city walls, as if in a universe of its own, the world-famous buildings and historic streets used as living back-drops for Game of Thrones, Star Wars and Robin Hood. Enjoy an evening in the old city.

Day 8 – Saturday – Check out at 09:00 and transfer to Dubrovnik airport or your hotel.

Due to mooring restrictions in some ports, the ships are moored side by side, making it necessary for clients to cross from one ship to the other over gang ways. Passengers are urged to take special care, when crossing between ships and the crew are on hand to assist, but given this, we do not recommend these cruises for clients with mobility issues.
Please note that as a safety precaution the whirlpool will not be filled to capacity while the ship is at sea.

In case of bad behaviour, the Captain reserves the right to ask clients to disembark.
