MS Captain Bota is a new motor yacht (built in 2015), larger than most in size, 40.60 x 8.10 meters, fully air-conditioned, spacious en-suite cabins with double or twin beds. The Ship has the feel of an exclusive yacht, being modern, of superior construction and with excellent facilities for guests.
The itinerary of this cruise shows the beauty of the islands, ancient cities and their rich heritage, with all modern day comforts.

A new Ship to Completely Croatia for 2017 the ship has spacious air-conditioned ensuite cabins, a comfortable Salon which spans the entire width of the ship. There is also a lounge bar, an outdoor covered sitting area as well as a sun deck. Six qualified and experienced crew members and the English speaking Cruise Director are on hand to ensure the cruise is unforgettable for all the right reasons.

DAY 1 • SATURDAY SPLIT

M/S CAPTAIN BOTA will be docked in Split harbour where guests may arrive at anytime during the day. However, for those arriving early, cabin access is not available until 13:00 although guests are welcome to store their luggage safely on board.

The welcome meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. where you will be formally introduced by our Cruise director to the Captain, Crew and of course your fellow passengers.

Welcome dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m.

The Captain will wait for all passengers arriving late into the night and these guests will be provided with a cold meal.

DAY 2 • SUNDAY SPLIT – BOL – HVAR

Set off from Split towards Bol, said to have the best beach for swimming in Croatia named Zlatni Rat. (Golden Horn).

Stop in Bol and enjoy a walk in this Dalmatian Town and take a swim or stop for coffee until lunch is served on board.
After lunch, continue cruising towards the sunniest island of Croatia, the island of Hvar. Cruising past many coves and bays on the way.

Hvar is one of the most popular, tourist destinations and a world renowned rendezvous point for the international jet set.

Arriving into Hvar during the evening, , a local English speaking guide will walk you through the town explaining the history, culture and way of life on this island and how lavender has been traditionally farmed on the Island of Hvar for centuries right up until today.
Enjoy a free evening in Hvar why not dine in one of the many family run restaurants specialising in fresh fish.

DAY 3 • MONDAY HVAR – KORČULA, KORČULA ISLAND

Set sail in the morning towards the island of Korčula. Stopping for a swim before lunch. In the afternoon arrive into Korčula town, on the island of the same name. Korčula is the city best known as the alleged birthplace of Marko Polo, the famous explorer. Your English speaking guide will take you on a City tour of Korcula walking through narrow and cobbled streets.

The rest of the evening is free to enjoy dining in a local restaurant of your choice.

DAY 4 • TUESDAY KORČULA – DUBROVNIK

After breakfast depart for a pleasant cruise along the shores of Mljet and the Elaphite islands stopping for have a swim stop and lunch before arriving into Dubrovnik during the afternoon.

Our private English speaking guide and coach will meet you at the pier. Taking you on a panoramic drive and a photo stop to take your breath away ! Then we arrive at the gate to the historical centre of Dubrovnik, the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, your Guide will show you the most interesting sights of the town. After the official City tour you can enjoy some time to yourself to explore , visit City Walls or take the cable car to the top of the Mount Srđ.

Return coach transfer is scheduled to be at 18:00 hours or you if you wish to stay longer, you can elect return to the Ship on your own.

DAY 5 • WEDNESDAY DUBROVNIK- ELAPHITI ISLANDS – MLJET NATIONAL PARK, MLJET ISLAND

After breakfast cruise to Mljet National Park, pass by magnificent shores of the Elaphiti islands archipelago, to the northwest of Dubrovnik, with swim stop along the way.

Lunch will be served on board while cruising towards Mljet National Park.

Upon arrival, enjoy a free afternoon to explore (entrance fees are not included), to walk around the Great and Small Lakes and Islet of St. Mary with its 12th century Benedictine Monastery. Evening at leisure.

DAY 6 • THURSDAY MLJET – PUČIŠĆA ( BRAČ ISLAND)

Your voyage continues towards Pučišća with lunch and refreshing swim stops en route.   Pučišća is the largest village on the island of Brač . Nowhere in Dalmatia does terrain play such a compelling role as here, with its steep-sided natural harbour, authentic Mediterranean architecture and rustic ambience. The fjord-like inlet has three narrow valleys that descend from the hills to join the sea. Pučišća Quarry was first mined in ancient history,  unused since the Roman era until more recent times.

It was from this quarry that stone was excavated to build the limestone columns of the White House in Washington DC, The Parliament House in Vienna and many other famous buildings all over the world.
The only Stonemasonry school in Croatia is located in Pučišća where students carve sculptures from Brač limestone with traditional and unconventional tools that have been used here for centuries.

DAY 7 • FRIDAY PUČIŠĆA – OMIŠ (MAKARSKA RIVIERA) SPLIT

After breakfast, cruise across the Brač Channel to Omiš. An ancient town with city walls, fortresses and stone churches located at the delta of Cetina River.

In the past Omiš was famous for its courageous pirates who fought bravely against the Venetian Reupublic. After a relaxed walk in Omiš we will have lunch on board . During the afternoon hours set sail towards Split.

Thought to be over 1,700 years old, since 1979 the historic centre of Split has also been a proud member of the UNESCO World Heritage Site List.

The historical and cultural buildings are located inside the walls of the Diocletian’s Palace.
Your English speaking guide will do a private afternoon tour of this fascinating place.

Optional Friday afternoon farewell excursion to National Park Krka.

The Krka National Park was proclaimed the seventh National Park in Croatia in 1985.

The whole area is rich with vegetation as well as birds and fish. Due to strict preservation laws, the whole area has been kept in its original pristine state.

From the Capt Bota, depart after lunch, arriving to Krka at around 3.30 p.m.

Walk through National Park, viewing the Skradinski Buk waterfall, the longest and most impressive on the Krka River, and one of the best known natural beauties of Croatia. The walking part of this trip will end at The Skradinski Buk Ethno Village. Return with a scenic road trip from Krka to Split.

After breakfast bid farewell to fellow Cruisers before departing for the airport or onward to your chosen accommodation for those who have chosen a Cruise and Stay holiday option. (B)
