Opened in 2021 this brand new hotel is a little gem located right in the centre of Ljublijana. Each room honours a piece of history immersing guests in the past, present and future of Ljubljana.

Situated in an old house by the river in the most beautiful part of the old town. Over the course of more than four centuries, it has been a lively venue for the city’s goings-on. Under its roof, it has hosted and accommodated goldsmiths, shoemakers, merchants, a famous inn, and more

Featuring Fifteen rooms, fifteen authentic stories of Ljubljana through time. Each one of them is different, each one of them special.

Many elements that serve as a testimony of its splendid past, such as arches, wall paintings, wooden ceilings, parts of the original roof construction, stone portals, and original foundations were carefully revealed and their stories woven into the hotel rooms, giving each of them their own unique character.

In the decades before its renovation Zlata ladjica was popular among the local city people, mainly for its large selection of beers and the lovely atmosphere in the pub garden. The renovated pub picks up on this story with its wide range of Slovenian craft beers and a fine selection of snacks.

Fine dining has a special place in their kitchen since all of the ingredients are precisely chosen and locally produced. Our main goal is to blend well-known Slovenian simplicity with a touch of finesse, that takes it to a higher level
