Upcoming Croatia holidays 2014

Posted .

This week,   we can report an unprecedented interest from people for Croatia holidays 2014.  Whilst we do have flights out for Dubrovnik for next summer; the flight timetable to Split is not out – and – if previous years are anything to go by we cannot expect anything from Easyjet until the middle of October at the earliest.  Come on Easyjet !!!!  lets capitalise on people’s interest !

Let’s get flights out as early as we can.  We know you will be featuring the route for next year as it’s been amazingly popular this year !  Please let us take advantage of hotels’ early booking deals !

Dubrovnik AerialWe have a lot of interest in the Kvarner Island Hopping Cruise for 2014.  New to us – it was featured in the Daily Mail recently with Julie Peasgood taking her daughter to this relatively undiscovered part of Croatia.  And whilst saying ‘don’t go to Kvarner as she wanted to keep it to herself’, we somehow doubt this will happen now it’s appeared in one of the most popular Dailies in the UK!  And has generated the phones buzzing here too.

Staying with cruise lines, the magazine Cruise Ship News has recently placed Dubrovnik in the Top 7 destinations in the world to get married.  Weddings in Dubrovnik have certainly grown in popularity in our 7 years of existence.  We can help with weddings or a Croatian honeymoon,  Just give one of our specialists a call.

Opatija-view-from-seaWe have also learned this week that, given there are over 10 million tourists per year who take a Croatia holiday, the Croatian Government are investing over e 200k on wi fi hotspots in order to keep up with demand.

A new little hotel for us this year has proved extremely popular.  The Castelletto – It’s a great value little place, tucked away in Cavtat which is a lovely bustling fishing village about 20 minutes from Dubrovnik – in the summer we’d suggest taking a water taxi to the Old Town.  Guests have reported the warmest of welcomes from the friendly Manager, Kristina, and they really will go more than the extra mile to make sure guests have the best time.  Not 5 star luxury, but a real warm ambience and ideal for a two centre holiday with perhaps Lopud or Sipan Islands for part 2.
