This is a larger style more ‘family orientated ‘hotel which fronts directly onto a horseshoe shaped beach.

Having recently undergone a total refurbishment, the hotel now boasts just in excess of 300 rooms of various standards. All are furnished in light colours and toning textures to maximise the incredible amount of light which floods into the hotel.
As there are 7 different room types, we will be pleased to discuss and advise based upon your individual requirement. For example, some rooms are interconnecting which is a popular choice for parents with children. Others have superb balconies with stunning views to the beach and beyond.
For the energetic, there is both an indoor and outdoor pool, and watersport rentals options on the beachfront. For those wanting to completely veg out, at the Bonj des Bains area, there is a spa and wellness centre with a wide range of treatments and therapies. We can advise more details at enquiry stage.
There are 7 different bars and restaurants within the resort to tempt you – whatever type of cuisine you fancy. From beach front bars, to top quality restaurants. All are open throughout the day and into the evenings. The newly opened Sunset Restaurant is named with just reason – its views are breathtaking.
With so many facilities on the resort itself, you could be forgiven for staying put for the duration of your holiday. However, Hvar town is an easy short 10 minute amble away – literally just around a small headland – what better way to walk off dinner and treat yourself to a coffee and brandy at one of the many waterside bars ?
If you want to get off site to enjoy some more strenuous exercise, the hotel Concierge will be pleased to assist with arranging tennis, jet skiing, sailing, mountain biking and free climbing (to name just a few of the options available!)
As well as total internal renovation, The Amfora has also had some exciting external additions during the past year.
These include the Bonj les Bains, a bathing area evocative of the 1930s* – in Art Deco style, it has stone built cabanas in which to cool off, steamer style sunbeds, plenty of parasols, and attentive waiting staff on hand to supply drinks and light refreshment. Swimming is easy in the crystal clear waters off the large sun terrace.
We are advised that there will be a newly completed terrace garden and cascade pool facing towards the beach. This is due for completion shortly. We will advise you at the time of your enquiry of the envisaged completion date.
Completely Croatia says ‘perfect for families in high season as so close to the beach with a very wide range of dining facilities – the newly completed terrace and pool even has its own baby pool. Off season, perfect for adults as has a very upmarket atmosphere with superb customer service.
