Hotel More Dubrovnik is a beautifully appointed 5 star boutique hotel enjoys stunning sea views over Lapad Bay and the Elaphiti islands and is perfectly placed in a peaceful tranquil location. More (pronounced More-ay in Croatian) means ‘Sea’ – its easy to see why the Owners settled on this name given its stunning position.
Within very easy strolling distance to the pedestrianised promenade of Lapad, guests will find an excellent variety of restaurants, cafes and bars from which to choose. The hotel is approximately 15 minutes by taxi from Dubrovnik Old Town. Walkable in about 40 minutes. 
Hotel More has its own private platform beach with sunbeds and parasols. This is accessed through a subterranean cave – found when excavations were being made to build the property. Now converted to a wonderful bar, delightfully cool during the day and a great buzzy place in the evening. Cave Bar and the beach are accessed easily by the hotel’s lift. The private platform beach area has sunbeds and parasols and there is waiter service for refreshments as and when required. In the evening this becomes an outside terrace for the Cave Bar,
The public pebble and shingle beach also easily reached close by. There is a large terrace with swimming pool with sunbeds on which to lounge and enjoy the panoramic stunning views. To the front of the hotel there is also a jacuzzi terrace with sunbeds.
There is a small gym and wellness centre which has a Roman sauna, steam bath and mud treatments.
Rooms
There are just 34 double or twin rooms, as well as 3 suites. All are decorated in restful hues and come complete with massage bath, shower, hairdryer, satellite TV, with all channels available to guests free of charge, internet connection, safe, mini bar and trouser press. Most of the bedrooms have a glorious sea or garden view and all those featured by Completely Croatia, have balconies. Our pictures don’t do the bedrooms justice – they are beautifully appointed, large and light.
Completely Croatia have negotiated some extra special honeymoon extras for our Hotel More clients which include, private transfers, complimentary room upgrade, (subject to availability) and fruit basket. At additional cost, why not take a candlelit dinner for two with a bottle of wine and/or a spa treatment, which includes a massage, a body treatment, and a katharsys special for two – available at a specially negotiated price. Or how about your own Captain with private boat to whisk you away to your own undiscovered cove, complete with champagne picnic lunch ?
Restaurant
Hotel More’s restaurant has a full a la carte, cordon bleu restaurant complete with Molteni kitchen so you can watch your meal being prepared with the finest ingredients, by the highly qualified chefs. The breakfast offering has recently been enhanced as well. And the menus are now on a PC tablet meaning one can read in English what is offered, as well as providing the Diner with an idea of the overall look of the meals available! The wine list is extensive – guaranteed to have something to suit the most demanding palate. For guests who prefer Half Board, we are able to offer this option, and furthermore can offer this on a totally flexible basis for as many or few dates of your holiday as you like – the choice is yours.
Whilst here – don’t miss a cocktail in the stunning Cave Bar – located on the private beach and open from 10:00 – 23:00 each day – its a stunning place to be. We’d recommend the Pina Colada !
Things to do
The hotel will also gladly assist in the choosing and reservation of day trips, car hire and excursions. It continues to expand the offering to ensure guests total satisfaction – for example – 2012 sees the introduction of the option of a a private airport transfer by helicopter, or Dubrovnik Panorama Tour by helicopter. Or as a special treat for the petrol head in your life – we can prebook (or Concierge can arrange on site) Rental of Ferrari, Porsche 911, Aston Martin or a Bentley – 24 hours notice required if arranged locally.
