Hotel Kazbek was originally built in 1573 as a summer castle for the noble Zamanja family. The hotel has now been lovingly and thoughtfully renovated to the very highest of standards with no expense spared. Overlooking the marina at Gruz Bay, just 3km northwest of Dubrovnik Old Town, its position is excellent.

Extensive refurbishment has seen the property regain its former glory and become again the perfect private summer retreat for discerning guests. A true boutique hotel. Culture abounds yet is effortlessly combined with every modern comfort. There is a lovely pool terrace area with jacuzzi, and plenty of sunbeds. There is also a sauna.
The hotel is a total smoke free zone and it prides itself in serving only the finest healthy organic food. The menu consists mainly of Croatian regional specialities – so plenty of fresh fish. Also ensure you sample some of the excellent local fine wines on offer.
Rooms
There are only 12 double rooms and one suite, 26 beds in total. All rooms are of the very highest standard equipped with air-conditioning, SAT & PAY TV, mini-bar and wireless internet.
Restaurant
The fabulous indoor restaurant is approached via a curved wall entrance hall which then opens out to the restaurant which also has ancient curved stone walls and an arched ceiling. The restaurant specialises completely in Dalmatian delicacies and cuisine. There are also two outdoor restaurants, two bars, and a fitness centre.
