Hotel Podstine has just 40 fully air conditioned rooms, most with balcony, have mini bar, safe, ensuite, satellite TV. Room service is offered from 11:00 – 23:00 every day., All Guests are given an extra special welcome, service levels are friendly and excellent. For those arriving by sea, the hotel also boasts its own yacht berth.
The hotel has recently been upgraded from a 3 star hotel and has just been awarded 4 star rating – well deserved given the facilities, rooms and service level. We are delighted as – in our opinion – this upgrade has been long overdue.
There is an excellent wellness centre with a fitness room, outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna and spa service. The restful ambience of a Roman spa has been well achieved. For the active, there are tennis courts 300m from the hotel. We can also pre-arrange some excellent walking routes around Hvar. Whether your level of expertise is in tougher physical walking, or more of a gentle amble, there are some lovely routes which take in the inland lavender growing areas, as well as incorporating some wonderful sea views.
Only a 20 minute stroll along the shore from bustling Hvar town, this hotel is ideal for couples wishing for a quiet or a romantic getaway yet to be close to some nightlife. Ask about the wine tasting trip to the Tomic vinery – its a wonderful trip and we bet you don’t come back empty handed ! The wines are superb.
The hotel also has its own private platform beach where guests may enjoy the complimentary use of sunbeds, parasols and shower facilities. A drinks service is also provided on the beach from the attentive staff.
To the rear of the hotel is the restaurant which also has an extensive outdoor terrace. This makes the most of the stunning sea views and is perfect for a leisurely breakfast or pre dinner drink. Hot and cold buffet breakfast are served here. Enjoy both International and Dalmatian cuisine during 
the evening (we love the black risotto here!).
Things to do
Take a day trip to the Pakleni Islands – a Robinson Crusoe experience. Dance the night away in Hvar town. Hire a moped to explore the inland lavender fields, or how about the ultimate wine tasting experience at the Tomic vinery?
