What a find ! A true family run boutique property.

Lovingly and authentically restored from a building originally constructed in 1898, and located Island of Murter, this Listed hotel effortlessly keeps its character without compromising on every comfort. We love it when we find a real gem like this – and are very confident to offer this hotel to our clients. Ana, her husband and thier obliging team will do everything to ensure you have the most relaxing and wonderful holiday. We expect demand to be high so would recommend early booking to avoid disappointment. Approximately an hour and a half transfer from Split.

It is also easy to visit nearby Krka National Park as well – the much lesser known and less busy sister to Plitvice – where waterfalls, flora and fauna abound. And also Kornati National Park (guests staying 4 nights + receive  a trip to Kornati with ours and the hotel’s compliments! – or why not charter a local boat to take you ? also within an hour is the ancient walled City of Zadar.

Just 9 fully air-conditioned rooms altogether, the majority benefit from a bathroom, with shower, some with bath, hairdryer is also provided. Luxurious white towelling bathrobes are supplied for all guests, as well as towels for the raised pool terrace area at the property. Rooms also have mini bar.

With its waterfront location, it is no surprise that there is a beach only 400m to the left of the hotel and a larger one approx a 1 km flat level stroll away. The island of Murter is also easily accessed. There are plenty of little bars and restaurants to while away a peaceful evening. The food in common with other sea front locations in Croatia is heavily focused on the freshest seafood.


A buffet breakfast is offered in the hotel’s ground floor restaurant, or outside on the terrace with its views of the sea. Fresh eggs are prepared to order as well.

There is parking to the front of the hotel for guests. This is charged a e 2 per day in peak season, but also affords guests parking on the island of Murter too. One of the most unexpected delights of this property, in addition to its sympathetic restoration, is the lovely pool area to the rear of the property – privacy is assured in this tucked away suntrap.

The hotel does not have a lift, and as accommodation is located over 3 floors, we do not recommend the property to those with mobility difficulties.
