Day 1 Dubrovnik
Arrival in Dubrovnik, transfer to your hotel and enjoy dinner
Day 2 Dubrovnik – Split- Trogir – Šibenik area
After breakfast, departure for Split.
Upon arrival enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Split and its historical centre. See where Roman Emperor Diocletian decided to spend his retirement in the sunny harbour of Asphalatos where he built his palace whose walls still form part of the City of Split.

The Guided City tour includes a visit to Diocletian’s palace, his mausoleum now converted to the Cathedral, Baptistery, and pause to rub the shiny toe of the statue of Gregory of Nin for luck !
On the way to Šibenik stop in Trogir one of the two UNESCO World Heritage protected cities in Croatia.

Situated on its own island, the medieval town is a masterpiece of Venetian art and architecture. Why not stop for coffee in in one of the many cafés to be found on the narrow cobbled side streets, the main square, or the seafront promenade. Arrive at the hotel on the Šibenik Riviera in time for a leisurely dinner.

Day 3 Šibenik area- Zadar- Rijeka/Opatija
After breakfast, depart to Zadar. Upon arrival the professional Guide will accompany the group for a city sightseeing tour of Zadar’s historical centre.
Most of the town is surrounded by city walls, towers and two city gates. This visit will include a guided sightseeing tour of the Mainland Gate (Kopnena Vrata) to the east of the Old Town, the five-sided tower and five wells which was the water supply for the city in olden times and the Port Gate (Lucka Vrata) to the North.

A visit to the well-known museum “Silver and Gold of Zadar finishes the day before continuing to Opatija for a two night stay.
Day 4 Opatija/Rijeka- Poreč – Rovinj – Pula- Opatija
After breakfast depart to Istria, a unique region – think undiscovered Tuscany. Populated for the last thousand years by Roman, Germanic, and Slavic peoples, has resulted in a rich mix of architectural styles.

The tour includes a visit to Euphrasius’ Basilica in Poreč. Continue to Rovinj, where there is free time to sightsee at leisure.
Early afternoon, continue on to Pula where sights include the Triumphal Arch and the most famous monument of the Roman era – the amphitheatre, built in 1st century AD, one of only six in the world still standing.

Return to the hotel for dinner.
Day 5 Opatija/Rijeka – Plitvice
Following breakfast, the group will travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Plitvice National Park.

Whilst here, view the 16 beautiful lakes of crystal blue-green water which lie in the valley between high forested mountains and ultimately cascade into 92 different spectacular waterfalls.
Take in the exceptional beauty of the lakes and waterfalls, rich plant and animal life, contrasting colours, forests and the pure mountain air.

Truly memorable will be a walk on the wooden promenades to view the magnificent water where every corner leads to yet more breathtaking scenery. Leave the tranquillity of this area to arrive for dinner at the hotel in Plitvice.
Day 6 Plitvice – Dubrovnik
After breakfast the coach will leave inland Croatia to enjoy a drive along the Adriatic coast. Early evening sees arrival in Dubrovnik to enjoy an evening meal.

Day 7 Dubrovnik
After breakfast, depart from the hotel by coach to drive along the coastal route to enjoy some, panoramic views. This will include a stop for a photo-break above Dubrovnik. Sightseeing continues in the Old Town.

Explore the ancient Franciscan monastery with its pharmacy – one of the oldest functioning in Europe.
Many other historical monuments are to be experienced as well – these include: St. Blazes, the Rectors’ Palace, Sponza Palace, and Orlando Statue, Onofrio’s fountain and of course, the Cathedral.
The afternoon is free for individual exploration and shopping .
Day 8 Dubrovnik
Final day and, after breakfast, transfer from hotel to the Airport.
