This week we have been really busy helping happy couples with honeymoons for next year. Amongst the most popular options under discussion have been the De Luxe Cruises, two centre to Podstine Hotel, on the bustling and increasingly popular island of Hvar and Villa Moretti in quaint medieval Trogir or our perennial favourite; a two centre holiday between Hotel Bozica on the island of Sipan and Hotel More, Lapad Bay, close to the ancient historic old town of Dubrovnik.
For the latter Dubrovnik holiday suggestion, we always advise guests to take the mainland element first, just because Sipan Island is SO incredibly quiet it can feel too noisy if you do it the other way around! Both these hotels have amazing sea views and are extremely romantic. At Hotel More we can arrange for a private speedboat to take you to an uninhabited island with a champagne lunch – where apart from a mobile phone, you can leave the modern world far behind. When you have spent your romantic day on the island, simply call for the Captain who will come back, pick you up and whisk you directly to Hotel More’s own private berth close the hotel’s beach.
And Hotel Bozica is quite simply located in one of the most beautiful places in Croatia! Peace quiet and tranquillity – friendly staff, fabulous service and some of the best food ever. The hotel has a fantastic sun terrace with pool, lovely little pebble coves, and a private beach, ideal to tuck yourself away in. And transfers to and from this property are all by private taxi and speedboat from an unspoilt tiny harbour about 10 minutes away from Dubrovnik. The island of Sipan itself has some lovely walks and the village of Sudarad has some lovely authentic Croatian restaurants with freshly caught fish on the menu.
Any the hotels mentioned above are perfect for those wishing to enjoy a real luxury holiday in Croatia, where excellent service and the finest cuisine are guaranteed.
City breaks in Croatia are also becoming a more popular option this week, as we move towards autumn. Dubrovnik and Zagreb being the most requested.
We have also disappointed far too many people this week which we hate doing – They left it till the last minute to get away for a Croatia holiday, and everything was fully booked. There just aren’t enough hotels in Croatia for the worldwide demand! We genuinely suggest booking early to get the best holiday to Croatia as well as the best value and to ensure securing the hotel of your choice.
