His work is found in several museums and galleries, as well as in the hands of private collectors in Croatia and around the world such as Pope John Paul II and Prince Albert of Monaco.
Day 1
Before dinner, enjoy an aperitif with Radovan Svilar who will present details of the forthcoming weeks course.
Day 2
Following an introductory lecture about basic artistic expression, view and paint simple silhouettes from the city of Rovinj. This will be followed by a tour of the city and a visit to several small galleries.

Walk along narrow city streets to the church of St. Euphemia. Explore the church and sketch the interior. Afterwards, take a short break on the Riva (waterfront) to enjoy coffee and cake.

Visit the ancient city of Pula with its many unique artistic opportunities such the Roman Amphitheatre or Arena, the remains of Roman villas, and the Roman Forum. Upon returning to Rovinj, stop in Bale, once a Roman fortress, to visit the picturesque town of Kaštel Bembo, famous for its Castrum Vallis art exhibition. Have lunch in Bale, in a charming establishment.
Day 4
Heading inland on the Istrian peninsula, discover Istria’s native traditions. Visit picturesque Grožnjan, a place rightfully dubbed “the city of artists” housing as it does, many colonies of musicians and artists.

Explore the narrow streets and art galleries and marvel at the magnificent views from the ancient walls. The tour continues to Motovun to gaze at the unsurpassed panoramas and drink in the atmosphere of the medieval city. Lunch is offered an authentic village household.

Today observe Rovinj from its best vantage point – from the sea. Take a relaxed boat ride along the rocky shoreline and head towards Lim bay to the small fishing town of Vrsar.

Walk through the city, along its cobbled streets, stopping at several of the lookout points which provide views of Rovinj’s shoreline. Vrsar has its own sculpture school. Many exhibits produced there decorate the city’s streets and parks.

Day 6
After breakfast, your instructor will meet you to walk to the Zlatni Rt park forest where magnificent deciduous trees grow alongside other exotic trees, ancient olives, and acres of aromatic plants.
