The 4 star Heritage Hotel Marmont is tucked beautifully with the walls of Diocletian’s Palace and is a stylish City bolt hole. The modern minimalist style bedrooms form a great fusion with the ancient stone walls, left exposed during renovation.

There are 21 rooms altogether, all fully air conditioned.  Starting with standard rooms and working up to De Luxe.  All rooms have high speed WiFi, mini bar, safe and hairdryer.  Superior and De Luxe rooms also have tea and coffee making facilities and dressing gowns and slippers.   Rooms all have either courtyard or City view.

The Resident’s Lounge is at first floor level  and has a real restful feel.  There is also a super rooftop terrace with views over the terracotta roofs of Split.

Restaurant Marshall is open daily from 07:00 – 22:00 offering a superb buffet breakfast with fresh pastries, organic fruit and vegetables, freshly squeezed juices and eggs cooked to order.

During the evening the menu is firmly Mediterranean in style specialising in fresh fish and having a superb diverse wine list too.

The Heritage Marmont is within easy walking distance of the Riva Promenade with its many bars, bistros and restaurants.  And from here it’s easy to take day trips to the island of Brac or Hvar, with the port being about 20 minutes walk away.  Trogir is also easily reached using the bus service,  which is both frequent and inexpensive.
